Note: This site is currently "Under construction". I'm migrating to a new version of my site building software. Lots of things are in a state of disrepair as a result (for example, footnote links aren't working). It's all part of the process of building in public. Most things should still be readable though.

Recharging

Twelve black, double A batteries lined side by side on a light colored counter top. Two batter chargers (one black and one light blue) are behind them. Each of the chargers is filled with four batteries. Their displays show milli amp values from 194 to 199. The cords are wrapped up and partially visible at the top of the frame.

These are the latest version of the Eneloop rechargeable batteries.

They are the best thing I've found for powering camera strobes. Super quick to bring the flash to full power with a lot of stored juice. I only had to change out one time during a wedding. It's also nice to not be throwing a ton of regular, non-rechargeable batteries in the trash.

Highly recommended.
