Note: This site is currently "Under construction". I'm migrating to a new version of my site building software. Lots of things are in a state of disrepair as a result (for example, footnote links aren't working). It's all part of the process of building in public. Most things should still be readable though.

Use Tailwind From A CDN

You can use Tailwind from a CDN in a single HTML file like this:

Code

<!doctype html>
<html>
<head>
  <meta charset="UTF-8">
  <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
  <script src="https://cdn.tailwindcss.com"></script>
</head>
<body>
  <h1 class="text-3xl font-bold underline">
    Hello world!
  </h1>
</body>
</html>

Don't do that for production, but it's great for quick dev work.

You can update the config by adding this to the head:

Code

<script>
    tailwind.config = {
      theme: {
        extend: {
          colors: {
            clifford: '#da373d',
          }
        }
      }
    }
  </script>

You can add custom styles like this:

Code

<style type="text/tailwindcss">
    @layer utilities {
      .content-auto {
        content-visibility: auto;
      }
    }
  </style>
