Three in a bar. Two flirting in the corner. The third alone. Elbow on the table, massaging templates. Bar mix and a lowball with melting ice pushed to the side.

The booths are empty. Glasses in a line on the bar. The bartender cleaning with a dirty towel. Whiskey bottles on wooden shelves behind.

The jukebox clicks. Sound of a record drop. The scratch of a needle.

The drum kicks, a trench coat walks in, lights a cigarette, and blows out the match.
